The Commander has appointed Air Vice Marshal SDGM Silva to lead a distinct secretariat charged with orchestrating a revitalized iteration of Air Symposiums, scheduled to commence in the year 2025.

In preparation for the much-anticipated Air Symposium – 2025, a pivotal preliminary conference was convened under the adept guidance of Air Vice Marshal TI Fernando.

After soliciting input from Commandants, Base Commanders, and Commanding Officers, the secretariat meticulously reviewed and ultimately determined the theme for the Air Symposium – 2025.

As promised, the secretariat has reserved BMICH to host the Air Symposium – 2025 at BMICH on 10th and 11th February 2025 considering few main points mentioned.

The official launch of the dedicated website for the ‘Air Symposium’ will be executed by the Commander of the Air Force with the participation of the AFBM and organising committee at AFHQ SJP, at 0900 hrs on 26th February 2024.
